Vince Carter has played 22 years in the NBA.

  • Over 1470 games
  • over 3971 miles run (not including practice)
  • Averaging about 180 miles per 7 month season
  • Equivalent to 152 Marathons over his career
His years logged (22) is longer than any other player in NBA history.

In January, he will become the first NBA player to play for 4 decades.  Doing what he loves, in his sweet spot of life, getting out of bed excited to live and play, for a long time.
Getting out of bed in the morning gives us information about our longevity.

If were tired, you didn't sleep well.  If your knees ache, you likely have some arthritis.  If your back is still, your 10-year-old bed is warped.

If we are worried about our aging bodies, we should consider what a professional does to get prepared for a long season.   Eat to live, sleep to perform, and form relationships that matter.

Harvard Edu tells us some simple ideas.
